Use the recorder

  1. Drag your mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen and click on the leftmost icon mceclip7.png.

  2. Click on Settings.

  3. Enter your password and click Unlock (the default password is admin or no password/blank).

  4. Click on System in the navigation and then on Users.

  5. Click the paper / pen icon behind the user for whom you want to change the password.

  6. Enter your desired password in accordance with the guidelines under the item Password.

  7. Click on Save.

  8. To change the password, the old password must be entered.

  9. Click on Save.

The updated password must be updated in the app when used. To do this, switch to the Devices menu and click on the middle symbol with the pen and change the password in the following screen.



Use the computer

  1. Click Remote Setting mceclip1.png.

  2. Navigate to System and then to Multi-User.

  3. Click on the desired user and enter the new password on the right side.

  4. Then click Save and enter the current password for authentication.

  5. You then have to log in to the Bascom Client again with the login data.



Use the smartphone

  1. Tap Settings App_Men__icon.png.

  2. Tap on Devices and at the bottom on Change password.

  3. Enter the old password in the first line and your new password in the two lines below.

  4.  Tap Save.

Please note that the password in the last step in the video is not visible for security reasons. You will see it on your device.
