Set up Wi-Fi connection

Choose your device: 

Plug the WLAN antenna into any USB port on the recorder.

Use the recorder

1. Drag your cursor to the bottom of the screen and click the leftmost icon .

2. Click Settings.

3. Enter your password and click Unlock.

4. Click Network and then click General.

5. Click Wireless (in the top middle).

6. Check the option Enable.

7. Then click on Scan after the SSID field.

   • If your Wi-Fi network is invisible to the router, enter the network name manually under SSID.

8. Select your network and double-click the entry with the left mouse button.

9. Enter your Wi-Fi password under Password and click on Join.

10. As soon as the message Join Success! has appeared, click Cancel.

11. Your recorder is now connected to the Wi-Fi. 

Use the computer

In order to configure the Wi-Fi settings via the Bascom Client, the recorder must first be connected to the router via a LAN cable.

1. Click Remote Setting .

2. Navigate to Network and then General.

3. Choose Wireless at the top.

4. Check the option Enable.

5. Click on Scan in the SSID field and double-click to select your WLAN network.

6. Enter your Wi-Fi password under Password. 

7. Click on Join.

8. Save all settings with Save.

9. Your recorder is now connected via Wi-Fi.
