Set the retention period for recordings

Choose your device: 

You can set the retention period for your recordings before they are overwritten. If "Automatic" is selected as the method, the oldest recording will be overwritten as soon as the hard disk runs out of free space.

Use the recorder 

1. Drag your mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen and click on the leftmost icon .

2. Click on Settings.

3. Enter your password and click Unlock.

4. Click on HDD and on the sub-item Disk.

5. Choose your time period behind Overwrite.

6. Click Apply to save your settings.

Use the computer

1. Click on Remote setting .

2. Navigate to Device and click Disk.

3. Choose your time period behind Overwrite.

4. Click Save to save your settings.

Use the smartphone

1. Tap Settings .

2. Tap on Recorder Settings and then on your recorder.

3. Select HDD.

4. Choose your time period behind Overwrite.

5. Tap Save to save your settings.
