Disable the recorder's automatic lock

When using the recorder with a monitor, the interface automatically locks after one minute of inactivity for security. Once locked, you'll need to log in again to access the system. You can change how long it takes before the recorder locks, or turn off the automatic lock entirely. Note that the recorder will always lock after a restart.

Instructions

1. Move your cursor to the bottom edge of the screen to reveal the menu bar.
2. In the bottom-left corner, click the menu icon  .
3. Click Settings and unlock the recorder if prompted.
4. Go to System > General > General.
5. From the Menu Time Out dropdown, select the desired time in seconds, or choose OFF to disable the lock completely.
6. At the bottom right of your screen, click Apply to save changes.
