Change the date and time
When the recorder is connected to the internet, the date and time are set automatically. However, if the recorder isn't connected, you can manually set the correct time. You can also change the time zone or adjust how the date and time are displayed to your preferences.
- Move your cursor to the bottom edge of the screen to reveal the menu bar.
- In the bottom-left corner, click the menu icon .
- Click Settings and unlock the recorder if prompted.
- Go to System > General > Date and Time.
- To manually set the date and time:
- First, disable NTP (Network Time Protocol) to prevent the system from automatically overwriting your changes.
- Then, set the desired date and time.
- You can adjust all other settings, such as time zone and display format, without disabling NTP.
- At the bottom right of your screen, click Apply to save your changes.
- At the top of the application window, click the recorder settings icon .
- Go to System > General > Date and Time.
- To manually set the system time:
- First, change Time setting mode to Static to prevent the system from automatically overwriting your changes.
- Then, set the desired date and time.
- You can adjust all other settings, such as time zone and display format, without changing the time setting mode to static.
- Click the Save button.
- Tap the menu icon .
- Go to Recorder settings and select your recorder.
- Depending on your recorder type, go to:
- Date and Time, or
- System > General > Date and Time.
- To manually set the date and time:
- First, disable NTP (Network Time Protocol) to prevent the system from automatically overwriting your changes.
- Then, set the desired date and time.
- You can adjust all other settings, such as time zone and display format, without disabling NTP.
- In the top-right corner, tap Save or the save icon .
